Overview
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Director, Business Development to own growth in our Dallas market as both a player and a coach. This role is uniquely built for someone who thrives on building relationships, has deep hospice experience in their community, and brings a warm book of business they can activate from day one. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with care consultants on your team, while also coaching and shaping market strategy to drive admissions, census growth, and sustainable referral partnerships. Responsibilities
Lead local hospice growth strategy with a mix of personal production and team coaching. Cultivate and strengthen referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and community partners. Partner with operations and clinical leaders to ensure a seamless patient and family experience. Coach and mentor sales liaisons through ride-alongs, shadowing, and direct feedback. Monitor and utilize local market data and CRM insights to identify opportunities, trends, and gaps. Take ownership and have responsibility of monthly and quarterly admissions, census, and referral goals. Represent Cadre Hospice with professionalism, grit, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. Qualifications
5+ years of hospice or palliative care business development experience with history of internal promotions. Established reputation and relationships in your market, with a warm book of referral sources. Proven ability to both produce results personally and develop others through direct management experience. Entrepreneurial mindset with a roll-up-your-sleeves, startup spirit. Strong communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills. Deep knowledge of hospice regulations and compliance standards. Commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for providing compassionate care to patients and families facing end-of-life issues. Benefits
