Position Summary
Certified Addiction Counselor. Works on an FT basis and provides substance use services for ACT team consumers, and who functions as a primary practitioner on the ACT team for a caseload of consumers. ACT is an intensive, integrated, rehabilitative, crisis, treatment, and mental health community support service provided by an interdisciplinary team to individuals eighteen (18) and over with serious and persistent mental illness with dedicated staff time and specific staff-to-consumer ratios. Service coverage by the ACT team is required twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. Provides co-occurring disorders treatment using evidence-based and stage-appropriate interventions. Key Responsibilities
Conduct substance use assessments. Deliver IDDT-aligned treatment based on stage of change. Provide counseling, group, and relapse prevention. Coordinate with recovery supports and 12-step programs. Educate ACT team on co-occurring disorders best practices. Qualifications
Licensed or certified (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS, CADC). Must meet Qualified Professional criteria. Salary Range:
$65,000+ Experienced in motivational interviewing and harm reduction Additional Notes
