Member of Technical Staff - PMT Research, AGI Autonomy at Amazon.com Services LLC. We’re a new research lab in San Francisco focused on developing foundational capabilities for enabling useful AI agents. Our work involves combining large language models with reinforcement learning to solve reasoning and planning, learned world models, and generalizing agents to physical environments. We are part of Amazon’s broader AGI team and leverage the scale of Amazon to pursue high-risk, high-payoff research. We’re building a small, talent-dense team with the autonomy to move fast and a long-term commitment to ambitious research goals. Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for the tools on the critical path of the Lab’s research, ensuring research velocity remains high in a rapidly evolving agent space. Basic Qualifications

Deep technical expertise and detailed understanding of neural networks, large language models, reinforcement learning, model evaluation, and data annotation Experience building products for highly technical users Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create something new from scratch Outstanding ability to clearly articulate product vision and requirements in written documents Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $225,000/year to $345,000/year depending on market location and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
