Overview
The Medical Director, Clinical Sciences, Oncology is a qualified physician scientist with exceptional academic clinical trials experience, preferably in solid tumor Oncology drug development. The Medical Director drafts designs of clinical study concepts which lead to clinical trial protocols and is responsible for medical/scientific supervision of individual clinical trials. This role may work on studies in melanoma, lung, breast, gastric, or colorectal cancers. Responsibilities
Define clinical trial-related goals and objectives. Conduct literature and database research on clinical trials as needed. Collaborate with Clinical Project Managers and Clinical Trial Managers at the study level and with the Therapeutic Area Program Manager. Contribute to program team meetings, scientific advisory boards, study steering committees and data/safety monitoring meetings. Lead and supervise the Clinical Team to produce high quality program deliverables on schedule. Maintain and develop relationships with key study investigators. Qualifications and Requirements
MD or MD/PhD with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant research experience. Oncology clinical fellowship training with translational and/or clinical research experience is strongly preferred. This role has a 4-day onsite minimum requirement in Tarrytown, NY or Warren, NJ. Why Regeneron
