Senior Business Systems Functional Analyst (FICO)
based in Morgan Hill, CA, you will lead and deliver complex, strategic initiatives through collaboration with business units, understanding requirements, and designing scalable solutions. You will facilitate discussions to harmonize processes across regions, lead project activities from start to finish, manage resources and risks, and support change management. Your role involves applying creative problem-solving, engaging with senior leadership, and ensuring adoption of standard IS&T methodologies. Responsibilities include:
Research, recommend, and develop functional solutions for complex problems to achieve business objectives. Design and configure SAP S4/HANA modules by analyzing requirements, conducting gap analysis, and writing specifications. Lead analysis, design, testing, and implementation of Finance processes within SAP, including integration points. Serve as a Finance SME, supporting SAP FICO modules and related projects. Provide leadership and support for SAP configuration efforts, policies, and procedures. Ensure clear articulation of SAP integration and functionality, advising on best practices. Lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues, acting as liaison between business and development teams. Develop training materials and support end-user training. Build FICO expertise among super users and SMEs. Identify and recommend controls, monitor project progress, and prepare technical reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in computer technology or related field preferred. At least 10 years of SAP S4/HANA support and implementation experience. Senior-level configuration experience in SAP FICO and OTC integrations. Proven leadership in cross-functional projects for a global, medium-sized corporation. Experience managing distributed teams across time zones. Complete SAP implementation in a sophisticated environment. Strong understanding of SAP FICO and S/4HANA. Experience supporting various business systems, including MDM. Training experience is a plus. Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL frameworks is a plus.
