OLIPOP is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to represent us in Northern California and manage retail performance. In this role you’ll prioritize time to focus on high-impact areas, while working with distributor partners, third-party sales resources, retailers, and an internal sales team to deliver a cohesive, high-velocity market presence. You’ll explore and drive new opportunities while building on existing momentum in the market. Base pay range

Directly manage and lead field sales team in the NorCal Market Lead, mentor and develop a high level field sales team to ensure KPIs are hit each quarter Navigate task conflict and feedback to the team where needed Set monthly priorities and goals for the team to execute against and track accountability Set and build out field strategy for the NorCal Market Manage partnerships with internal OLIPOP sales team, distributor partners, natural food brokers and 3rd party merchandisers Execute a monthly volume and distribution plan to achieve overall objectives in the market Translate national business strategy into clear and regionally executable plans and focus resources accordingly within the territory Hit accounts, build relationships at store level and secure OLIPOP prime placements within retail sets Build annual purchase and spend forecasts; execute and evaluate on a monthly basis Analyze monthly depletion reports, pinpoint opportunities for underperforming distributors, accounts and routes Ensure all sales efforts comply with state laws Maintain accurate distributor, retail and on-premise distribution records and monitor competitive activity Market analysis to track brand performance and inform sales/marketing decisions Develop presentations for total business and distribution partners to drive action Monitor competitor activity within the region and provide constructive feedback Identify and implement route-to-market improvements in developing and established channels Conduct route rides with DSD partner and natural food brokers Schedule and conduct distributor team meetings to align on brand standards and optimize sales Conduct quarterly business reviews with DSD partners Design and implement incentive programs to guide distributor organizations in achieving sales objectives Collaborate with marketing teams to create comprehensive plans to increase market share Develop initiatives to strengthen bonds with brand fan bases Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in sales within a consumer-packaged goods company (beverage preferred) 3+ years of experience in people leadership, leading field sales teams Experience in natural & conventional retail channels with CPG selling background in refrigerated space preferred Established relationships with key retail accounts and top brokers/distributors (UNFI, KeHE, Dairy Delivery, Rock Island, Morris, etc.) Ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and work autonomously Ability to navigate ambiguity and ask the right questions to reach solutions Passionate about the OLIPOP brand and impact, with adaptability in a fast-growing environment Proficient in data tools (SPINS, DSD depletions, Retailer Portals) and trade math; able to evaluate business performance Strong planning, organizational, project management, and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to analyze opportunities quickly and execute company goals efficiently Resourcefulness and creative problem solving Estimated 50% travel, including overnight stays Reports to
