AirGarage is on a mission to bring real estate online, starting with parking. We replace broken parking machines, fragmented software, and manual, labor-intensive operations with a unified, data-rich operating system for parking real estate. We handle everything it takes to run and optimize a parking asset: payments, dynamic pricing, enforcement, license plate recognition, analytics, and more. By building all of our technology in-house, we are able to deliver a magical experience for drivers while providing real-time visibility and revenue increases of 20-50% or more for real estate owners. That’s why national real‑estate leaders like Hines and Greystar, as well as technology companies like Meta, partner with AirGarage to optimize their parking facilities. AirGarage uses datapoints like real-time occupancy, local events, weather, driver behavior, competitor pricing, and more to bring true intelligence to real estate owners’ assets for the first time. Check out these podcasts: THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Account Executive that is excited about driving new business at a fast growing start up with a superior product in an industry that has been slow to innovate as well as playing a role in building out and scaling the Account Executive team to support our rapid growth. Responsibilities
Build a sales pipeline from scratch (with the help of our SDR team) in markets across the country and own the sales process from start to finish to ensure you exceed quota each quarter. Engage in dollars-and-cents real estate conversations and communicate the finer details of a technical product to non-technical buyers. Develop an understanding of the buyer journey for multiple customer types, including fast-moving, single-stakeholder deals and complex multi-party sales with national commercial real estate firms. Prospect, qualify, and close new deals through outbound efforts, including highly personalized demos, objections handling, and deal closure. Work closely with SDRs to augment outbound efforts and increase the size and throughput of your active pipeline. Qualify leads by becoming an expert on AirGarage and conveying how AirGarage's solution can help. Develop an understanding of the parking and commercial real estate industry to negotiate pricing and contract terms. Maintain an up-to-date Salesforce CRM with accurate pipelines and activities. Collaborate with Operations through the deal desk process to propose and structure proposals that win while remaining healthy for the business. Collaborate with the sales team to iterate and improve the sales process. What you need
4+ years in a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role with a track record of success and exceeding goals. A history of promotions at past companies demonstrating hard work and rapid learning. Ability to quickly learn about AirGarage and the Commercial Real Estate industry to effectively connect with target customers. A growth mindset and adaptability in an early-stage startup environment. Grit and willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed. Hunter mentality — excited about prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Excel for simple profit & loss analysis and financial comparisons when preparing proposals. Experience in a smaller startup environment where the playbook is not fully defined. Compensation
On-Target Earnings of $215k with a 50/50 base and commission split. Commissions are uncapped and paid out on a quarterly basis. What you will do
Exceed quarterly sales quota by pursuing new deals from start to finish, including prospecting, cold calling, scheduling and conducting highly personalized demos, overcoming objections, and closing deals. Collaborate with SDRs to grow the size and throughput of your pipeline. Qualify leads by becoming an expert on AirGarage, understanding customer pain points, and conveying how AirGarage’s solution helps. Develop an understanding of the parking and commercial real estate industry to effectively negotiate pricing and contract terms. Become an expert in Salesforce CRM and keep pipelines and activities up to date with high attention to detail. Partner with Operations through the deal desk to propose and structure proposals that win and are healthy for the business. Contribute to ongoing improvement of the sales process.
