Wentworth Institute of Technology . This is a
part-time
position (15 - 20 hours per week). Reporting directly to the Senior Assistant Director of Student Accounts, the Military Educational Benefits & Certifying Official will ensure that veteran benefits (including GI Bill, various chapters) are delivered properly and timely to students. In addition to certifying veteran enrollments, this role will oversee other veteran education programs such as ROTC scholarships, Tuition Assistance Programs and scholarship support. This position will also play a key role in program compliance with Federal and State agency guidelines including VA, DoD, and SAA. Responsibilities
Ensure Compliance with Federal and State Agency Guidelines (i.e. VA, DoD, SAA) Report to appropriate agencies enrollment, withdrawals, changes in degree program, unsatisfactory progress, academic warning and dismissals, and monitor courses to ensure students are enrolled in courses needed for their current degree program Maintain VA Enrollment Manager and DoD Education Portal Access and Training Maintain adequate records of certification, degree plans, transcripts, VA applications and certificate of eligibility. Records are kept for three years following the student's last date of attendance Support the billing processes as needed/required Other duties as assigned to support Military-Connected Students Required Qualifications
High School Diploma 2-3 years of customer service experience Preferred Qualifications
Current or previous work in a business or retail setting Current or previous work administering government benefits Familiarity with a military culture Inclusive Excellence at Wentworth
