As the
Marketing Manager, Public Sector
at GHGSat, you will be the strategic driver of new ideas to build awareness and generate leads. You will work with the dynamic I&G and Partnerships teams to help bring GHGSat\'s vision and unique value proposition to the many companies who are keen to monitor and reduce their emissions. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, and with the support of a strong marketing team, you will play a significant role in supporting the organization\'s ambitious growth goals. Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Develop and execute lead generation strategies to support the sales team in meeting targets and utilize digital advertising, email campaigns, social media, and content marketing to generate high-quality leads. Identify new opportunities to increase leads across the funnel (TOFU/MOFU/BOFU) including sponsorships, trade associations and publications, targeted ABM campaigns, and email marketing. Support Partnerships team to drive partner lead generation. Work with Growth Marketing and Marketing Ops to track campaigns and measure results. Global Event Strategy: Identify and collaborate with the sales team on trade shows/events to prioritize participation for awareness, consideration, lead generation, revenue, and ROI. Provide analysis and recommendations on future participation. Work closely with Events Manager to ensure flawless event execution and provide necessary information. Explore other event formats (webinars, executive roundtables, VIP events) to generate additional meetings and opportunities. Sales Enablement & Content Creation Oversight: Identify tools and resources with sales counterparts to increase new meetings, lead conversions, and deal closings. Coordinate with PR to identify thought leadership content to improve brand awareness in the target market. Lead the development of a library of customer stories, case studies, white papers, and other materials relevant to the target market. Partner with Product Marketing to ensure messaging, value propositions, and one-pagers align with sales and product needs. Marketing Team Support: As a lean team, contribute to various tasks as needed to support overall success. Qualifications
Proven experience (3-5 years) in a marketing manager role, with a focus on lead generation, event management, and content creation — experience with the public sector (US federal/state government) is preferred. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, analytics tools, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to drive lead generation and track campaign performance. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the organization. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Balanced combination of creative thinking and strategic execution; ability to drive plans to completion. Experience in Email Marketing, Website Content, and Branding is a plus. Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Benefits
