The Director of IT SAP Systems is a leadership role responsible for the successful planning, delivery and ongoing management of Vaxcyte’s SAP and Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) initiatives. This individual will oversee the implementation of our SAP ERP and OMP APS. They will provide team leadership to ensure business goals are met efficiently and effectively, and will work closely with supply chain, finance and other business teams to deliver ERP/APS solutions that support growth through vaccine commercialization and beyond. The position reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise IT Systems at Vaxcyte’s San Carlos, California headquarters. Essential Functions

Lead and execute SAP and OMP implementations and related projects aligning with organizational objectives and strategic goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates. Coordinate with vendors, plan budgets, and facilitate steering committee meetings. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on outcomes. Implement change management processes for SAP and APS to ensure smooth adoption; develop support for tracking GxP and SOX related changes. Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and implement corrective actions as needed. Create and maintain program standards, tools, deliverables and document management. Promote continuous improvement by identifying enhancements and implementing best practices in SAP and APS throughout implementation and lifecycle management. Lead a cross-functional team including business, IT, consultants, and contract manufacturer resources to achieve high performance. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, SAP certification) is desired. At least 12 years of experience in program/project management with multiple SAP and APS implementations. Experience leading large, complex initiatives with detailed timelines, milestones and resource planning. In-depth knowledge of SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA and integration techniques. Experience implementing APS systems (OMP experience is desired). Expertise with agile methodology, global deployments and data migration planning. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Background in implementing and maintaining GxP validated and SOX-regulated systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Experience in identifying and managing project risks with proactive mitigation. Proficiency in change management to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new systems. The compensation package will be competitive and includes comprehensive benefits and an equity component. Salary Range:
