The indiGO line of purpose-built EVs provides the smoothest, roomiest, and most affordable ride using patented SmartWheel technology. Our technology combines premium suspension, a spacious cabin, and low cost-per-mile performance to enable truly sustainable transportation. We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to partner with vendors to ensure parts arrive build-ready. Responsibilities include defining acceptance criteria and critical-to-quality characteristics, establishing practical incoming inspection and verification, and leading corrective actions when nonconformances occur. The work is collaborative and hands-on, combining data analysis with supplier engagement and periodic site visits. The objective is to convert supplier variation into predictable, repeatable performance with minimal process overhead.
Key Responsibilities
Define critical-to-quality characteristics and incoming inspection plans. Review supplier process controls and create simple scorecards with feedback loops. Lead problem-solving on non-conformances and drive corrective actions. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering on first articles and readiness.
Experiential Background
BS in Engineering or relevant experience in supplier quality/manufacturing. 5+ years of practical experience in quality engineering, ideally in EV or automotive environments. Working knowledge of quality and testing tools and environments. Clear communicator comfortable with on-site and remote supplier engagement.
Location and Employment Preferences
Qualified candidates working from our EV facility and HQ in Woburn, MA (20 minutes from downtown Boston) are preferred and will be prioritized. Note that only experienced and qualified candidates should apply, and also state whether they can either work full time in Woburn MA or are open to relocation to the NorthEast area.
