Salary:

The budgeted salary range for the position is $170,000 to $200,000. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.

Position Summary

The Department of Medicine, Division of Academic Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, has a vacancy for a Geriatrician (non-tenure) to provide clinical and teaching in the clinical setting. Faculty Rank determined based on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical Service includes outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facilities

Teach medical students, residents, and geriatric fellows

Participate in the scholarly and service missions of the department

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

MD/DO Degree

Completion of a Geriatrics Fellowship

Eligible for a State of Illinois Medical License, State of Illinois Controlled Substance License, DEA License, and BLS Certification

Eligible for medical staff privileges at UI Health
