Responsibilities
Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school-based settings. Gather necessary information to conduct social histories. Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner. Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals. Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs. Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to the agency within established deadlines. Qualifications
Passion for working with children and families. Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license. Self-motivated and a team player who demonstrates patience and professionalism. Fluency in a language other than English is a plus. Physical & Logistics
Travel to and from assigned cases, including driving a personal vehicle or using public transportation. Ability to ascend/descend stairs. Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly. Ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods. Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $150.00/hr - $350.00/hr. Starting rate per evaluation: $130.00 - $350.00 (compensation based on experience and education and discussed during the interview). Benefits include: medical, dental, vision and 401k. Access to paperless billing and data collection system (training provided). Support from a team of clinical supervisors and administrative staff. Location
Nassau, NY; cases available throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties. Location: Nassau, NY.
