Mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties.
The not-for-profit system is comprised of 13,000 team members, nine hospitals and a physician group that encompasses over 1,100 academic and community providers practicing in over 185 primary and specialty clinics located in more than 110 locations.

Hospitalist with a growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
Location is a 114-bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Ahoskie NC. Ability to live in nearby Greenville, North Carolina or Edenton, NC
Beautiful beaches and waterfront scenery nearby
The 15-bed ER serves approximately 21,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns.
High quality hospitalist team inclusive of 8 physicians
7on/7off 7am-7pm schedule, no night shifts required
Anticipated inpatient volume per provider is 14-16 patients per day
Coverage includes a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit
Short term vent management will be required
Optional procedures include CVP, intubations, and lumbar punctures
Tele ICU support available
Specialty support includes general surgery, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pulmonary and respiratory, radiology, anesthesia, emergency medicine, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics and dermatology
In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends.
Requirements
Board Certified / Board Eligible: Internal Medicine Physician or Family Medicine Physician
Eligible to hold North Carolina state medical license
Must have at least 1 year of hospitalist experience
