RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a BC / BE Hospitalist for full-time employment as a Nocturnist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Nocturnist for full-time employment in Newark, New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for an eager physician to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team alongside a strong support staff including advanced practice providers with the goal of providing high-level care. Ideal candidates will be excited to join a busy practice and support a team-based approach to care and clearly communicate with other Hospitalists, case managers, social workers, bed managers, and all others involved in the patients' care, discharge planning and patient / family communications. The physician will be opened to opportunities to educate, supervise, and cover residents. Training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred for this role, and qualified candidates will demonstrate proficiency in use and operation of all equipment pertinent to position. Responsibilities
Provide nocturnist coverage as part of a busy hospitalist team at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Communicate clearly with hospitalists, case managers, social workers, bed managers, and other care team members involved in patient care, discharge planning, and family communications. Educate, supervise, and cover residents as opportunities arise. Qualifications
New Jersey license or eligible for licensure. American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Family Medicine certified. Ambitious and looking for growth opportunities.
