About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic relationship-builder who thrives at the intersection of creativity, production, and business development. As
Head of Client Partnerships , you’ll lead our efforts to grow direct-to-brand relationships, strengthen agency partnerships, and unlock new opportunities across our family of companies —
Gear Seven (production) ,
Shift Dynamics (specialty camera systems) , and
ARC Studios (virtual production stage) . This is not a traditional Executive Producer role. Instead, you’ll serve as a
trusted partner to clients and agencies
— identifying opportunities, guiding conversations, and building long-term value. You’ll work closely with our creative and production teams to deliver high-tech, high-touch solutions that set us apart. What You’ll Do
Drive Growth Identify, pursue, and win new direct-to-brand and agency accounts. Develop subscription/retainer opportunities (ongoing content, gear packages, studio support). Expand existing client relationships, upselling services and cross-selling Shift + ARC offerings. Build Partnerships Serve as the main relationship owner for key accounts. Lead pitches, presentations, and proposals with support from Creative + Production. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client showcases. Collaborate with the Team Partner with Creative Producers on treatment and pitch development. Work with Line Producers + Production Ops to align client expectations with budgets. Ensure smooth handoff from client engagement → creative → execution via our “client pod” model. Shape the Future Monitor shifts in the industry (brand in-housing, AI workflows, subscription models). Provide market feedback to help refine service offerings and marketing. Champion a client-first culture that values long-term partnerships over one-off projects. What Success Looks Like
Consistent pipeline of new client opportunities. Growth of existing accounts into long-term partnerships. Increased utilization of Shift Dynamics + ARC Studios in client projects. Contribution to company growth goals. Who You Are
6–10 years in business development, partnerships, or client services at a production company, creative agency, or studio. Deep understanding of production workflows — comfortable talking to creatives, producers, and marketers. Networked in brand and/or agency circles with a track record of driving new business. Strong communicator and storyteller — can translate technical capabilities into client value. Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and motivated by building something modern and evolving. Compensation
Base Salary:
$85K – $110K (depending on experience). Commission: 6% on contribution margin of new business (new accounts/projects). 3% on existing account growth (renewals, retainers, upsells). Annual Bonus:
Up to 10–15% of base salary tied to company margin/growth targets. Upside:
Earnings potential $160K – $300K+ annually based on performance. Reporting & Collaboration
Reports directly to the CEO/Founder. Collaborates with Head of Operations. Works closely with Creative Producers, Line Producers, Marketing, and the Shift + ARC teams. Seniority level
