About the Role
As a Department Supervisor, you will support the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and the store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. A Day in the Life

Customer Sales & Profit: support the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines. Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions. Be aware of and take responsibility for your department’s strengths and identify commercial opportunities, working with your Department Manager to act on them. Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team has the ability to actively promote and sell products to customers. Promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives. Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and at checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges. Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly. Fashion & Trend Awareness : keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers; ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions. Team & Development: retain and share knowledge and skills with the store team. Collaborate, plan and work with the in-store Visual Merchandiser team. Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each other. Communicate regularly with store colleagues to inform, motivate and inspire – through daily and weekly meetings. Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed. Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution : Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, including stockroom areas. Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation, with good garment care. Maintain stock levels and provide input on allocation to Area team. Ensure the full garment cycle – from delivery to garment presentation – and fitting room routines align with our standards and internal routines, using all tools and technology provided. Maintain in-store OMNI Services and in-store tech services/tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.). Maintain price signs in-store and on the sales floor following global and local guidelines to ensure a consistent price perception. Update and upkeep BOH areas for all colleagues (key information, health & safety, tidiness, etc.). Be responsible for opening & closing the store daily.
