Associate Director, Global Neurology Pipeline Communications Location:
Cambridge, MA; Washington, DC (Hybrid: in-office requirement 3 days per week) Company:
Sanofi This role supports strategy and execution of communications programs designed to prepare global markets for future neurology assets, including CIDP and Alzheimer’s disease. The position reports to the Global Head of Neurology Communications and is based at one of our key US sites. Base pay range:
$114,750.00/yr - $165,750.00/yr Responsibilities
Develop and manage a comprehensive global external communications strategy that advances business goals for the franchise; support internal communications priorities as needed Direct and deliver effective thought leadership communications Partner with Patient Experience and Public Affairs on global unbranded disease state education campaigns Understand the competitive CIDP and Alzheimer’s landscape and ensure strategic positioning for the brand Collaborate with Heads of Communications and cross-functional partners to align with global strategies (commercial, medical, market access, communications, HEOR, R&D, etc.) Coordinate with Global Media Relations and Investor Relations on external communications related to the neuroscience pipeline Work with priority and international markets to execute the global brand communications strategy and support local tactics Oversee day-to-day management of communications agencies and budget oversight Think creatively and strategically to develop awareness campaigns and mobilize action About You
Desired Skill Sets: Passionate about the pharmaceutical industry and patient impact Strong healthcare and scientific data aptitude with experience managing product and regulatory milestone communications Expertise in communications concepts, practices, strategies and tactics aligned with audiences and corporate objectives Knowledge of digital and social media landscape with ability to deliver innovative plans Experience using data for planning, optimization and reporting – outcomes-based communications Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines and manage multiple projects Strategic thinker who challenges the status quo and can work independently or in teams Strong networking, relationship-building, and executive-level communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication; strong collaboration, negotiation and influencing abilities Project management capabilities and strong issues management skills Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related scientific field Minimum 10 years of corporate communications experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology (product communications, agency experience preferred) Experience in pharmaceutical product areas required Ability to travel up to 20% Why Sanofi
