Senior and Lead Database Engineers (DevOps)
to drive our transition to cloud-first database operations. These roles focus on
automation, optimization, and scalable performance
across Snowflake, Azure, and other enterprise data platforms. Ideal candidates are self-starters who thrive in a DevOps environment, collaborating with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to build robust, automated, and cost Key Responsibilities
Database Engineering & Cloud : Design, automate, and manage Snowflake solutions on Azure; support Oracle OCI and Cosmos DB; ensure scalability and system health with IaC (Terraform, Ansible). Automation & Optimization : Automate provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and backups; optimize Snowflake performance (queries, warehouses, storage); build scripts/tools (Python, PowerShell, Ansible) for self-service. DevOps Integration : Embed database operations into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions); standardize deployments with IaC and configuration management. Governance & Security : Enforce security, compliance, and access controls; align with organizational and regulatory standards. Continuous Improvement : Monitor trends in Snowflake, Azure, and DevOps; recommend strategies for performance, cost, and scalability; drive a culture of automation and optimization. Qualifications
Strong expertise in
Snowflake
(performance tuning, workload/cost optimization, security). Hands-on experience with
Azure cloud services
(Snowflake on Azure, Cosmos DB, Snowpipe). Familiarity with
DevOps practices : Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), CI/CD, monitoring. Proficiency with
automation/scripting
(Python, Ansible, PowerShell). Experience in database performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving and optimization mindset. Preferred / Plus
5–8 years in database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, or similar RDBMS). 2–3 years applying automation (IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, automation frameworks). Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and database security best practices. Proven ability to collaborate across engineering and architecture teams.
