Overview
Orthopedic Surgeon needed one week per month for locums coverage in Iowa, beginning January 2025. This is a temporary placement with potential for a permanent Orthopedic Surgeon in the future. Responsibilities
Provide general orthopedic surgery coverage for one week per month, Mon-Fri with weekend call (Fri 5p – Mon 8a). On-call average 2-3 cases per day. Care for mostly adult patients with a mix of pediatric/adolescent cases as applicable (approximately 96% adult, 4% pediatric/adolescent). Perform fracture care and infection care as part of routine orthopedics duties. Qualifications
Active IA License or IMLC Required. Board Certified or Board Eligible within two years of training. Details
