Position Summary

CVS Health's Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) is an organization working to solve some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare. A&BC leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, modeling, and a hypothesis-driven approaches to transform data into actionable, customer-centric insights to drive growth, improve health outcomes and access to health care across all our businesses in CVS Health. The A&BC organization is looking to grow its Strategy & Product team. Join us as we embark on an exciting journey to drive a transformational shift in how CVS Health leverages technology and analytics to become the leader in healthcare in the U.S.

As a Technical Product Manager within A&BC, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of AI and advanced analytic powered full-stack applications for internal and external users. This role requires a strong understanding of product management, data analytics, software applications, and business strategy. The ideal candidate will work effectively with cross-functional teams to bring analytics-focused products to market. Additionally, as a Product Manager, you will support the dissemination of best practices (design thinking, agile methodologies and more) to support A&BC in its product transformation.

Responsibilities

Conduct user research, usability testing, and SME interviews to inform product decisions and validate hypotheses

Collaborate with designers to create UX flows, wireframes and designs

Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications to communicate feature requirements to data science, engineering and stakeholder teams

Support engineering and data science teams to implement features by clarifying requirements, facilitating technical discussions, and helping technical team members to understand users and business needs

Manage product backlog, facilitate problem solving, scoping, and prioritization across teams

Run day-to-day planning and ceremonies, and champion Agile practices

Identify and mitigate interdependencies proactively

Define, monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization

Work with end-users, stakeholders, and leadership to continuously evolve the product roadmap

Demonstrate and support dissemination of best practices for product management, product development, release management, user support, issue resolutions and change management

Required Qualifications

3+ years' experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management role, working cross-functionally with Data Science and/or Engineering teams

3+ years' demonstrated technical fluency, discussing topics such as system integrations, data models, APIs, RPA, and LLM-based solutions at a conceptual level

3+ years' experience communicating technical concepts and implications to business stakeholders, and to translating business concepts into technical requirements for Data Scientists and Engineers

3+ years' experience with user-experience design and testing methodologies

3+ years' experience working with SMEs to uncover nuances in ambiguous system processes

3+ years' experience with stakeholder management

3+ years' experience working with Agile methodologies and software

3+ years' demonstrated ability to drive outcomes in complex environment

2+ years' experience building workflow and decision support applications that leverage AI, ML or other advanced analytic product

Preferred Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience with claims /payor/ payment operations, healthcare technology, or enterprise SaaS

Experience with user adoption strategies and change management for frontline operations teams

Strong Excel/SQL/analytics capability

Comfort with discussing system architecture at a conceptual level

Self-starter and enthusiastic learner of AI and its emerging use cases

Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, especially in taking a product from concept through launch

The ideal candidate should be passionate about making healthcare more efficient and want to be part of a transformational change in the Healthcare industry

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related quantitative field

Master's degree or MBA preferred

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
