Responsibilities
Meet or exceed location revenue goals and KPIs by managing the front and back of shop from vehicle intake through delivery to ensure high throughput, production quality, and efficiency.
Labor assignment and production management: assign repair jobs to Body Technicians and prioritize teardown or paint.
Teammate support during peak times by receiving customers, checking-in vehicles, and writing estimates as needed.
Monitor and attain production goals and standards: ensure repairs meet Crash Champions and I-CAR quality standards, ensure accurate billing, and uphold PPE safety.
Complete shop payroll and staffing in a timely manner: ensure adherence to punch-in/out guidelines and weekly payroll processes; manage staff PTO, vacation, or leave.
Manage daily production flow: communicate with Body Technicians, Collision Estimator, and Parts Managers to meet delivery requirements.
Write DRP-compliant estimates as needed: perform full disassembly and damage discovery, update estimates, and lock final estimates.
Team acquisition, coaching, and development: understand all teammate position requirements, interview and hire based on skills and experience, and provide performance coaching and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Knowledge of the collision industry including high-level understanding of insurance procedures for various carriers.
Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving.
Ability to lead and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve results.
Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software (CCC ONE Total Repair Software).
Proficient with computers and other technology.
Valid driver’s license required.
