Overview

Senior Tax Manager at Cypress Creek Renewables. The Senior Tax Manager will report to the SVP, Tax and focus on tax compliance and reporting, and support development and M&A opportunities. Ideal candidate has experience in both partnership and corporate taxation and is a self-starter and team player. Responsibilities

Responsible for the Company’s fund-level partnership returns, ensuring timely filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns; review work product and manage relationships with external advisors. Review HLBV models for tax equity partnerships. Support tax implications of development and M&A opportunities. Liaise directly with Tax Equity Investors across funds. Resolve federal, state, and local tax notices and audits. Maintain, document, and develop income tax governance and internal controls. Identify and implement best-practice process improvements across the tax function. Develop tax team members. Perform other duties as requested by management. Education & Experience

BS in Accounting or Tax; MS in Tax is a plus. CPA required. Minimum 6-8 years of partnership tax experience with a large corporate or public accounting firm; Big4 experience strongly preferred. Proficient in complex partnership concepts including allocations and HLBV reporting. Solar or other renewable energy experience strongly preferred. Experience with financial modeling and Investment Tax Credit processes preferred. Experience in M&A transactions is a plus. People management and development experience. Detail-oriented, resourceful, and organized; able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. Effective communicator with regulatory agencies, tax reviewers, state/local auditors, attorneys, peers, and all levels of corporate management. Self-starter who handles multiple projects with competing priorities with minimal supervision. Location & Schedule

Location: Durham, NC; Washington, DC; or New York City, NY. The Washington, DC office is preferred. Hybrid schedule with in-office three days per week. Compensation

Salary range: $120,000-$170,000 plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Benefits
