Location: Warrenton, VA Contract Type: One-year contract with four (4) optional renewals Work Arrangement: 10-15 hours per month onsite plus 24/7 phone availability Employment Type: Part-Time, Contract Key Responsibilities
Implement and oversee resident care policies across the facility Provide 10-15 hours/month of onsite leadership presence Ensure compliance with CMS and Virginia Department of Health regulations Lead QAPI and Facility Assessment efforts Conduct family meetings, end-of-life discussions, and policy reviews Oversee clinical EMR documentation and regulatory inspections Provide consultation and guidance to nursing and administrative teams Serve as backup attending physician if needed Be available 24/7 via phone for clinical emergencies Minimum Qualifications
MD or DO with unrestricted Virginia license Minimum 12 months of SNF Medical Director experience Familiarity with CMS regulations and EMR systems Must be available on or after November 1, 2025 Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with veteran populations Strong QAPI, clinical compliance, and inspection readiness skills Staff training and development experience Ability to scale leadership with census growth Additional Details
