Overview
Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - Riley role at Indiana University Health. This full-time weekend option position at Riley Children's Hospital; shift is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7am–7pm. Sign-on bonus available for those who qualify. Responsibilities
Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exams and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history and necessary information in EMR. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exams for safety. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed. Qualifications
0-3 years of relevant experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association. Ability to maneuver equipment and adapt positioning as patient condition requires. Active ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R)) or board-eligible graduate; if board-eligible, must obtain Radiography credential within 6 months of hire. Current Indiana ISDH license as Radiologic Technologist or current ISDH Radiology Student Permit. Seniority level
