Overview
Akkodis is seeking an Aveva PI System Architect for a contract with a client in Boston, MA. Candidates must hold an appropriate AVEVA PI accreditation and have proven experience of architecture and leading PI System implementations. Rate Range:
$56/hour to 71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Aveva PI System Architect responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of Aveva PI System solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. Gather and analyze business requirements, conducting workshops and stakeholder sessions to define solution scope. Oversee the implementation lifecycle, including configuration, integration, and deployment of PI System components. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring best practices and adherence to standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable enterprise analytics and reporting using real-time operational data. Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in Aveva PI and related data infrastructure, recommending innovative solutions. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in designing and implementing Aveva PI System solutions. Must hold an appropriate AVEVA PI accreditation and have proven experience leading PI System architecture and implementation projects. Strong skills in business requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and architecting solutions for operational and real-time data infrastructures.
