Head of Business Operations – Strategic Partnerships, Partnership A&Co-Inno Team
AWS is seeking a Head of Business Operations - Strategic Partnerships to lead operations for our Partnership Acceleration & Co-Innovation Team (imPACT360). Launched in late 2024, imPACT360 plays a pivotal role in transforming how AWS and Amazon engage with strategic customers and partners. The team drives complex, high-value engagements that span across Amazon's diverse portfolio of entities, including AWS, Amazon.com, Amazon Ads, Kuiper, and other business units. The role works with senior leadership across AWS and Amazon to define processes, metrics, and systems that scale impact. It involves collaboration with a diverse team of professionals across technology and business strategy, and offers opportunities for growth and exposure to leading technologies and strategic initiatives that influence AWS and Amazon.
This is more than a typical operations role — it is an opportunity to help build and shape a team changing how AWS and Amazon approach strategic partnerships and customer engagements. Key responsibilities
Ensure the overall strategy of imPACT360 is integrated into operational planning and execution. Own and execute the rhythm of business processes including OP1, OP2, QBRs, WBRs, team offsites, and stakeholder updates. Lead development of OP and QBR documents. Advise team Director on strategic priorities, resource allocation, progress assessment, and solutions to key challenges. Drive annual planning process, including goal-setting, tracking methodologies, and alignment with broader AWS/Amazon objectives. Implement robust systems to track monthly, quarterly, and annual progress against goals and KPIs that span across multiple Amazon entities. Ensure accurate headcount management and alignment across Amazon BUs. Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Legal to optimize team operations and compliance. Contribute to product roadmap reviews and guide integration of relevant standard data sets and operational knowledge. Develop and maintain team playbooks and standard operating procedures. Foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment across AWS and Amazon business units. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree 8+ years of operations experience in tech, preferably in areas like sales, product management, partnerships, or procurement Proven ability to quickly learn complex business environments and build trust with diverse stakeholders Strong data analysis skills and experience using metrics to drive operational improvements Experience in business strategy development and change management Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional business judgment and ability to advise senior leadership Master\'s degree or MBA Experience establishing operational frameworks and metrics for new/growing teams Knowledge of generative AI applications for process automation and industry trends Background working with enterprise software, cloud, or B2B technology companies Program/project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) Excellent written and verbal communication skills AWS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $237,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
