As a Lead Director, Proposal Development you will monitor pharmaceutical specialty pipeline products and develop the RFP Strategy for the specialty trade pipeline for new and established pharmaceutical manufacturers and industry consultants. Leading all aspects of the RFP process and managing a team of RFP colleagues, you will immerse yourself within the specialty pipeline industry to establish our company as an innovative and leading specialty pharmacy within the RFPs for drug access. You will connect with specialty pharmaceutical consultants, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and collaborate internally with cross functional partners to position CVS Specialty as the partner of choice. You have responsibility for responding and coordinating the specialty manufacturer RFP, establish and communicate specialty pharmacy RFP strategy internally and support the development with the Access Strategy with senior leadership. To be successful, you will utilize your strategic and critical thinking abilities as well as your strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your ability to balance multiple priorities at once and your dedication to seeing projects through to completion will also be critical to your success.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the RFP process for the specialty pipeline and manage a team of RFP colleagues. Monitor pharmaceutical specialty pipeline products and develop the RFP strategy for new and established manufacturers and industry consultants. Collaborate with specialty pharmaceutical consultants, manufacturers, and internal cross-functional partners to position CVS Specialty as the partner of choice. Respond to and coordinate specialty manufacturer RFPs, establish and communicate RFP strategy internally, and support development with the Access Strategy with senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of overall professional experience 5+ years of experience in strategy, marketing or business development working in the specialty pharmacy industry, biotech, pharmaceutical, payer or consulting space Proven strong business writing skills Ability to partner cross-functionally and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications

5 years of experience leading specialty/biologic manufacturers MBA, graduate degree preferred

Education

Bachelor's Degree or proven related experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
