We are seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead our
Whittard of Chelsea
Pop up boutique, powered by the Leap Platform. This pivotal role is designed for an experienced, results-driven leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, driving business growth, and delivering an elevated client experience. As General Manager, you will own the full scope of store leadership—from strategic planning to execution—ensuring excellence in operations, people management, and customer engagement. You will lead by example on the sales floor, set clear goals, and foster a culture rooted in collaboration, performance, and continuous development. Your ability to coach and inspire will be key in cultivating a high-impact team and building a pipeline of future leaders. In addition to overseeing day-to-day store operations—including sales, staffing, scheduling, visual merchandising, and inventory management—you’ll act as a local market expert. By understanding consumer behavior, regional trends, and community events, you’ll activate the store through localized outreach and events that deepen client relationships and drive traffic. Beyond your home location, you may support other Leap-powered stores in the area through cross-store initiatives, new store openings, and onboarding support. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong operational foundation, and comfort navigating modern retail tools and platforms such as Shopify, Endear, Slack, and Google Workspace. Responsibilities
Lead store leadership from strategic planning to execution, ensuring excellence in operations, people management, and customer engagement. Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing team; build a pipeline of future leaders. Oversee day-to-day store operations: sales, staffing, scheduling, visual merchandising, and inventory management. Act as a local market expert; drive traffic through localized outreach and events. Support cross-store initiatives, new store openings, and onboarding for Leap-powered stores as needed. Utilize retail tools and platforms (e.g., Shopify, Endear, Slack, Google Workspace) to optimize performance. Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience with a track record of hiring, developing and leading successful teams. Proven expertise in premium, luxury, or high-touch retail environments. Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze metrics and pivot strategy to meet evolving goals. Operational excellence in scheduling, payroll, inventory, visual merchandising, and policy compliance. Demonstrated ability to create individualized experiences and foster long-term client relationships. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel as needed. Ability to actively lead on the sales floor, including standing, walking, using ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be 18+ years of age. Compensation
Annual Pay Range: $65k – $80k. Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and skills. Interpersonal Skills

Operational Compliance: Maintains inventory accuracy, visual standards, and procedural excellence. Team Retention & Development: Builds a loyal, engaged team through proactive coaching, recognition, and growth opportunities. About Leap
