to join our legal team. You will support our Sales function and focus on customer-facing SaaS agreements and revenue-driving initiatives across our global operations.

$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

About the Opportunity:
We are a growing cloud-based platform that seeks a
Senior Commercial Counsel
to join our legal team. You will support our Sales function and focus on customer-facing SaaS agreements and revenue-driving initiatives across our global operations.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS subscription agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and DPAs
Support "Request For" processes, renewals, expansions, and customer audits
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal input for RFPs and security questionnaires
Maintain contract templates and support legal operations tools (e.g., contract repository, legal helpdesk)
Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards
Must-Have Skills
J.D. from an ABA accredited university and in good standing with at least one State Bar
5-8+ years of relevant work experience in private practice or in-house legal roles
Experience negotiating SaaS agreements, subscription contracts, and DPAs
Proven track record of managing and negotiating complex contracts in the technology or SaaS sector
Familiarity with reseller agreements and other cloud-based technology offerings
Experience working with sales, revenue, and information security teams in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations
