Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. In this position you would play an integral part in organizing, leading and creating corporate reporting and analysis. Provide leadership for the 5-year and annual budgeting and forecasting process and recommend methods to streamline and standardize reporting processes throughout the entire organization. You would also drive actionable insights into all of Frontiers business units and partners with executive leadership to improve profitability. Responsibilities
Lead and prepare the Company's detailed annual budget, five-year plan, latest financial estimate and financial scenario modeling. Provide analysis for decision makers including business division/SKU/customer/order-level profitability views that improve margin, inventory turns, and SG&A efficiency. Model the financial return of capital expenditures including IRR/NPV/payback and complete post-investment reviews. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures focused on financial reporting. This includes maintaining a single source of truth across the Company's ERP system Infor M3, Infor EPM cubes, and reporting layers, resolving data integrity issues end-to-end in support of enterprise reporting and financial period close. Work closely with IT and other business partners to organize, lead, and create corporate reporting and analysis for leadership. Provide systems and data leadership by serving as the power user for ERP, planning and budgeting tool, and financial report writer. Review business unit financial results, investigate issues, explain variances and perform related financial analysis. Develop and implement daily/weekly/monthly reporting package that covers key financial and operational efficiency metrics or corporate objectives. Responsible for preparing detailed periodic profit/loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts. Lead FP&A related projects (software implementation or other process improvements). Assist with the company's annual audit. Stay abreast of business decisions and developments in order to be able to analyze and evaluate accounting and reporting information for accuracy and reasonableness. Perform ad hoc projects as requested. Strives to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and re-use resources when practical. Works safely at all times, follows safety rules and policies and participates in scheduled training. Reports injuries and near misses promptly and in required detailed format; proposes corrective action. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct reports. Qualifications
Bachelors or masters degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field and 7 to 9 years related experience in FP&A, corporate finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience preferred. Expert proficiency in Excel, Power BI and other analytical tools (Power Query, DAX, MDX, SQL) is strongly preferred. Experience with ERP systems required and experience with Infor M3 and Infor EPM is preferred. Language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or simple government regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, or procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions; ability to communicate effectively with executives and non-financial employees. Quantitative skills: ability to comprehend complex financial principles, create customized spreadsheets, charts and reports, manipulate, mine, process, and present data, analyze balance sheets, P&L statements, and financial documents for long-term, strategic decisions.
