Are you a seasoned tax professional with a knack for strategic planning and a passion for number crunching? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Tax Manager to join our team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. This role involves overseeing all tax-related activities, including tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to federal and state tax laws, and providing guidance on tax-related issues. Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic tax planning for federal and state taxes. Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and state tax returns. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits, preparing responses and schedules. Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate effects to management and the tax team, and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation. Provide support with internal audits and special tax-related projects. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections. Manage and coordinate tax audits. Maintain tax balances on general ledger. Prepare all tax papers and handle data requests. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA, Master’s in Taxation, JD, and/or LLM in Taxation preferred. At least 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accounting role and at least 2 years in a management role. In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns. Knowledge of tax software and MS Office. Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems. Exceptional client service with the ability to develop excellent client relationships. Strong leadership and personnel management skills. Analytical skills with attention to detail. Benefits
