Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Endocrinologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat endocrine system disorders, focusing on conditions related to hormones and metabolism.
Duties
Conduct patient consultations to assess endocrine-related concerns
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as CT scans and medical imaging
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including nurses, addiction counselors, and behavioral health specialists
Provide education to patients on managing endocrine conditions
Qualifications
Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Fellowship program in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
Board certification in the subspecialty of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
A valid NYS medical license.
Experience in managing a wide range of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and hormonal imbalances
Experience in the subspecialty area such as pediatric endocrinology or reproductive endocrinology is advantageous
