Practice Type:
100% outpatient, Multispecialty Group, Academic Component with teaching our Learners
Schedule
Options:
Full time or Part Time
Practice Operations:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with
no inpatient responsibilities, no call coverage expectations
Full-Time expectations:
30-hour workweek consisting of
26 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week
Various Procedure Opportunities
Available Devices:
Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL), Pulse Dialyzer and more
Patient Population:
Diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, in a
supportive outpatient setting
Ability to participate in
inpatient
pediatric dermatology patients at Brenner's Children's Hospital and also via
virtual inpatient consults
at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte
Adjunct Academic Appointment
for hospital privileges (optional)
Direct Connection with the Dermatology Academic Department
for mentorship, guidance, and additional support
Collaborative and Supportive Practice Environment
within a renowned academic healthcare system that values teamwork and patient-centered care
Work closely with our
twelve dermatology residents
as well as with the pediatric residency program
Mentorship
from our mid and senior-career faculty, including Dr. Jorizzo, who currently runs our pediatric dermatology services
Training and/or Experience Required
M.D./D.O.
degree from an accredited medical school
Successful completion of a
Dermatology Residency
at an accredited healthcare institution
Board Certification or Board Eligibility
in Dermatology
