Instructor, (Graduate Entry Program in Nursing) Location: Honolulu / Manoa Campus. Tenure Status: Non-tenure track. Type: 9-Month. Status: Temporary. Full-Time, 100%. Date Posted: September 19, 2025. Teach and/or coordinate assigned nursing courses primarily in the Graduate Entry Program in Nursing (GEPN), an accelerated program designed for adult learners transitioning to the Master of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree programs. Specific priorities include medical-surgical nursing and other specialty areas of nursing. Participate in curriculum development activities as appropriate or assigned. Participate in didactic, lab practicum and clinical settings. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university. Holds a current (or is eligible for) unrestricted RN license to practice in Hawaii. One year of full-time nursing work experience in the area of nursing specialty. Engaged in professional practice with a similar patient population and level of patient acuity where supervision of nursing students will occur. Demonstrated ability to teach effectively, provide clinical supervision, provide student feedback, and direct group discussion. Demonstrated professionalism in meetings and conferences with others. Demonstrated competency in interprofessional teamwork and team science. Desirable Qualifications

Prior teaching experience. Experience teaching in an accelerated program for advanced learners. Experience in curriculum development and evaluation. National certification or eligibility for certification in advanced practice. To Apply
