Overview
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Anesthesiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Metropolitan Hospital is a full-service community hospital that provides state-of-the-art care and leading-edge technology in a modern environment. Responsibilities
Serve as an integral member of the medical team under the supervision of the Department Chairperson
Supervise advanced practice practitioner staff
Determine and prescribe appropriate anesthetics and procedures for various cases
Recommend suitable anesthesia, provide dosage guidance, and consult on post-operative complications
Review case histories and oversee all matters related to Anesthesiology
Attend and contribute to clinical conferences
Administer anesthesia directly
Qualifications
Board Eligibility and/or Certification in Anesthesiology
Active New York State License
Compensation and Benefits Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $409,000* (board eligible); $419,000* (board certified) based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $588,000** (board eligible) and $598,000** (board certified), including base salary, fringe benefits, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on quality and productivity targets).
401(k) Company Contribution: immediate 3% contribution; after one year, an additional 7% contribution. No employee match required.
