We are hiring an E-Commerce Business Development Director to growing an online company's revenue and market share by developing strategies, forging strategic partnerships with marketplaces and brands, and identifying new opportunities within the e-commerce landscape.
The responsibilities include market analysis, presenting growth plans to leadership, optimizing customer experience across digital channels, and working cross-functionally to drive sales and innovation in a digitally-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement e-commerce growth strategies, including local market propositions, to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Partnerships: Identify and build strategic relationships with e-commerce enablers, marketplaces, and potential partners to expand offerings and business opportunities. Market & Trend Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and analyze trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine business plans. Client & Portfolio Management: Manage existing and potential clients, ensuring account profitability and fostering strong business relationships to drive growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, such as marketing and operations, to develop and execute strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Performance Monitoring: Monitor business performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to refine strategies and ensure success in the market. Leadership & Communication: Lead business development efforts, communicate strategies to internal stakeholders, and act as a spokesperson for the company's e-commerce offerings. Requirements
