Overview Pediatric Endocrinologist - Boardman, Ohio. Akron Children's Hospital offers a welcoming and collaborative environment for physicians at all career stages. The Endocrinology team includes 9 pediatric endocrinologists, 6 certified nurse practitioners, and a comprehensive diabetes management team, complemented by a full-service lab, registered dietitians, social work, child psychologists, and other specialists who work together to provide top-notch care.

The Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology provides comprehensive care for all aspects of endocrine disorders and Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. The center also hosts specialized programs and clinics including: Turner Syndrome Program; Thyroid Disorders Clinic; Survivors of Childhood Cancers and Brain Tumors; Gender Affirming Care; Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy; Neurofibromatosis 1; and an Annual Diabetes Camp.

This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.

Requirements Requirements include board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Endocrinology and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
