Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS, Lambda, Cognito, EventBridge and others. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CDK to automate provisioning and management of AWS resources. Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost, implementing best practices for resource utilisation and cost optimisation. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of applications using tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps. Automate code deployment, configuration management, and release processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of software updates to production environments. Skills/Requirements
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus. Proven experience in DevOps engineering roles, with a focus on AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience. Experience in project execution and demonstrated technical expertise. Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS, with a deep understanding of AWS services, networking, and security. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools such as AWS CDK for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.
