Hoag Health System is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to women throughout their reproductive health journey, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Details

Full time position. Monday-Friday

Treating both obstetrics and gynecology patients. Good balance

Outpatient based role with some inpatient duties as needed

Our team has dozens of experienced and capable Ob/GYN Physicians and NP's to provide support

Seasoned and tenured support staff

Growing program with increasing demands for women’s health services

EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health and medical histories.

Monitor patients during prenatal visits, labor, and delivery.

Provide education and support to patients regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Assist in various procedures including catheter care and ventilation management.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing individualized care plans.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Participate in utilization review processes to ensure quality of care standards are met.

Requirements

Minimum of two years of experience as an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner required

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Experience or knowledge in critical care settings such as PICU or acute pain management

Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration

Compassionate approach towards patient care with an emphasis on empathy and support
