Highlights As Director of Mass Spectrometry, you will:
Provide clinical and technical leadership for a rapidly growing mass spectrometry program.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Clinical Pathology and a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation in test development and clinical application.
Play a key role in shaping the future of precision diagnostics through translational research and clinical integration.
What You'll Do:
Lead the development and implementation of novel diagnostic assays.
Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers on test selection, interpretation, and utilization.
Engage in the education of residents, fellows, and medical students.
Contribute to the department's strong academic mission through research and scholarship.
Training and/or Experience Required What You'll Bring:
MD or PhD with specialized training and experience in mass spectrometry.
CLIA laboratory certification and/or licensure.
Proven experience in a high-volume, complex clinical laboratory environment.
A passion for advancing laboratory medicine through method development, informatics and interdisciplinary collaboration.
