Luminis Health Ancillary Applications Manager Position Objective:

The Ancillary Applications Manager is responsible for the oversight, implementation, and ongoing support of clinical information systems that serve ancillary departments, including laboratory, radiology, respiratory therapy, and rehabilitation. This role leads a team of analysts and PACS administrators who support Epic modules and other integrated platforms. The manager partners with clinical and operational leaders to ensure systems are optimized to meet patient care, workflow, and regulatory needs. Essential Job Duties

Partner with the Clinical Director to define and execute the strategy and vision for ancillary clinical applications. Lead and manage the ancillary applications team, including Epic analysts and PACS administrators, supporting modules such as Beaker and Radiant, and other related systems (e.g., LIS, PACS, and imaging platforms). Ensure timely and effective delivery of services, including new implementations, enhancements, maintenance, and end-user support. Collaborate with lab, radiology, rehab, respiratory, and other departments to align application functionality with clinical workflows and operational priorities. Serve as liaison between ancillary departments and IT leadership to prioritize requests, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement. Monitor team performance, establish goals, and ensure service-level expectations are met. Manage vendor relationships and contracts for third-party systems integrated with Epic or used in ancillary settings. Lead or support projects related to system upgrades, optimization efforts, compliance initiatives, and new functionality. Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements and technology trends in ancillary services. Support staff development through coaching, feedback, and access to certification and training opportunities. Respond to escalated issues and advise the Clinical Director on risks, mitigation strategies, and system performance opportunities. Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required. 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory, lead, or managerial role within an Imaging EHR team. 3–5 years of experience in a hospital clinical setting with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and systems integration. Prior experience with Epic inpatient modules strongly preferred (e.g. Radiant, Inpatient, CPACS). Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage cross-functional projects. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Luminis Health Benefits Overview
