We are seeking an exceptional Head of Product Marketing to join our team at Vercel. This hands-on leadership role requires a deep understanding of frontend and backend technologies, particularly Next.js, Vercel\'s platform, v0, the AI SDK, Shadcn, and Turbo.dev. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong technical chops, capable of crafting compelling narratives for developers and enterprise decision-makers alike, and driving our upmarket strategy toward large-scale, global enterprises. Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies for Vercel\'s suite of products, including Next.js, the Vercel platform, v0, the AI SDK, and Turbo.dev. Create compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Vercel for developers and enterprise decision-makers. Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and major updates to maximize impact and adoption across target segments. Collaborate with the Product team to translate technical features into clear customer value propositions. Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning, identify opportunities, and guide development priorities. Develop and maintain ICPs and buyer personas with a focus on enterprise customers. Produce high-quality product marketing collateral (product sheets, case studies, whitepapers, sales enablement materials) highlighting technical advantages and business value. Work with Sales to develop tailored pitch decks, ROI calculators, and materials that support Enterprise Sales and drive adoption among large organizations. Lead development of product-focused content for website, blog, and developer documentation to ensure clarity and consistency. Collaborate with Events to plan product-centric sessions and demos for conferences (e.g., Next.js Conf, Vercel Ship) showcasing innovations to developers and enterprise prospects. Implement and manage a voice of the customer program to gather insights informing strategy and feature prioritization. Develop and execute strategies to increase product adoption and usage, including onboarding flows, feature announcements, and user education initiatives. Stay current with industry trends in AI-powered development, edge computing, and enterprise web development to inform positioning and opportunities. About You
Deep understanding of the developer ecosystem and frontend development landscape. Strong experience in product marketing for technical products, ideally from a cloud-native company. Passion for Next.js and a deep understanding of the Vercel platform and its value proposition. 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing with a track record of leading and scaling high-performing teams. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate teams. Brand taste is a must. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. User of X or Bluesky; you must be where your audience is.
