Construction Senior Project Manager - Multifamily
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation multifamily projects in the Portland metro area. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to manage all phases of construction, from preconstruction through project closeout.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day project management for multifamily developments, ensuring schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate project team including superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, architects, and consultants.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
Oversee buyout, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration.
Maintain strong client relationships and act as primary point of contact.
Drive progress meetings, ensure timely RFI and submittal processing, and manage change orders.
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
Mentor and support project engineers and other junior staff.
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience in multifamily or commercial construction.
Proven track record delivering projects from $10M–$100M+.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Strong proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary ($130K–$150K+ DOE)
