Overview
Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), part of Memorial Healthcare System, is seeking a BE/BC Medical Oncologist, dedicated to breast cancer and disease, to join a multidisciplinary team in delivering world class cancer care. MCI is recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and is a designated Cancer Center of Excellence by the Florida Department of Health. The physician will join a comprehensive team of five breast medical oncologists and four breast surgical oncologists with robust APP support. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists to provide comprehensive treatment options for patients, along with integrative medicine specialists to optimize patients’ well-being and quality of life. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established program with a strong reputation in the community, and a state-of-the-art facility with innovative technology. The selected candidate will be required to actively participate in clinical research, both through patient enrollment and participation in forums to conduct institutional research initiatives. Join a multidisciplinary breast cancer program as part of Memorial Cancer Institute. Collaborate with medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Participate in clinical research, including patient enrollment and institutional research initiatives. Engage in teaching and training of medical students and residents within Memorial’s ACGME-accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program. Provide high-quality patient care with an emphasis on patient well-being and quality of life, including integrative medicine support where available. Qualifications
BE/BC Medical Oncologist with a focus on breast cancer. Interest and passion for teaching and training of the next generation of physicians. Willingness to participate in clinical research and contribute to institutional research initiatives. Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and utilize state-of-the-art facilities.
