Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the HVAC/R business

Monitor KPIs, technician productivity, and job quality; analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation

Analyze KPIs and financial reports to reduce costs and increase profitability

Drive revenue growth through strong sales strategies and operational alignment

Lead, coach, and develop managers, technicians, and support staff

Create a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

Implement best practices and process improvements across the business

Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance

Forecast manpower requirements

Build, develop and maintain customer satisfaction through responsive communication, quality service and quick resolution on issues

Maintain and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety programs, including all required certifications, licensing, and training for compliance

Perform all other duties as required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and/or equivalent level of experience

5+ years of increasing leadership experience in the HVAC and/or Refrigeration industry (minimum eight years of operations experience, preferably in a service environment; minimum of 3 years’ experience managing multiple locations)

Knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC principles and practices, including service hour estimation, labor forecasting, construction management, and multiple disciplines involved in the area of responsibility

Proven success managing P&L responsibilities

Proficiency in managing multiple assignments, setting and balancing competing priorities with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Strong understanding of HVAC/R operations, scheduling, and workflow management

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency and initiative

Familiarity with Operational Excellence tools and initiatives (e.g., Balanced Scorecard, maturity roadmaps, Six Sigma, Lean)

Direct branch operations in a safe, effective and environmentally responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines

This position is based in the United States and must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major international airport. Remote eligibility: approximately 50-60% travel when not traveling
