Role Overview
The Task Order Program Manager serves as the primary leader for the task order, overseeing all program activities, coordinating subcontractor efforts, and ensuring alignment with project objectives across multiple sites. This role drives strategic program oversight, communications, training, and risk management, ensuring seamless integration of diverse functional areas to deliver high-quality outcomes for complex, multi-site operations. Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for all task order activities, ensuring integration of subcontractor contributions to meet project goals. Oversee communications efforts, including developing and disseminating stakeholder briefings, reports, weekly highlights, and outreach materials to promote program successes. Manage training programs, ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements, guiding certification processes, and supporting professional development for staff. Lead risk management, developing and implementing strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across projects, including maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet quality, timeliness, and compliance standards, leveraging data management systems for accurate reporting. Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related interactions, managing subcontractor performance and ensuring effective reporting to stakeholders. Facilitate high-profile events, such as project inaugurations, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stakeholder engagement activities. Oversee portfolio-level reporting, ensuring consistent data validation and quality assurance across all project deliverables. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; Master’s degree . Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with expertise in multi-partner or large-scale program coordination across dispersed locations. Proven success leading programs in acquisition, facility management, or cross-program support, achieving exceptional performance ratings. Demonstrated expertise in strategic communications, including drafting speeches, talking points, and stakeholder materials for senior leadership and public outreach. Extensive experience in risk management, including developing risk registers, mitigation strategies, and quantitative assessments for large-scale projects. Strong skills in training program execution, including compliance monitoring and certification support for professional certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), project management tools, and data systems like SharePoint or similar platforms.
