Conveyance Project Manager

to support delivering world-class water and wastewater conveyance and storage projects for our municipal, private, and agricultural clients. Responsibilities

Lead a team of highly qualified and motivated engineers through the design process, interacting directly with clients to develop and deliver technical conveyance solutions, and mentoring ambitious mid-level engineers. Join a team of experts in conveyance, pumping plant design, fish screen intakes, water, and wastewater treatment technologies and participate on project teams delivering challenging projects while serving and developing clients. Lead business development activities with key clients resulting in acquisition of new projects; perform the role of Project Manager supporting various projects and programs within a defined client portfolio. Lead and manage project teams throughout all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout; ensure scope, schedule, budget, and other contract requirements are met. Utilize conveyance technical expertise to lead and mentor staff, form long-term client relationships, and pursue new work including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. Collaborate with Jacobs Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates to maximize design, digital technology, and support capabilities; support and engage across teams to deliver outcomes. Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum of 15 years of experience related to water or wastewater in a civil engineering role. Licensed California Professional Engineer Demonstrated track record of delivering multiple conveyance-related projects in water or wastewater. Proven ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, proposals and/or reports. Ability to work a hybrid schedule. Ideally, a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Experience serving various clients involving conveyance pipeline design, project management, and water/wastewater pump station design. Desire for personal and team growth and ability to serve as the technical liaison between the project owner and the design team. Business development, interpersonal, and networking skills to gain market share; experience supporting business development with local municipalities. Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently. Benefits and Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $150,500.00 to $265,900.00 per year. The range is provided by Jacobs and actual pay will be based on skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more. Eligible employees may enroll in a deferred compensation plan, the Executive Deferral Plan, and Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, one floating holiday, and caregiver leave.
