The Job The Project Manager for the Star Quality Team plays a critical role in advancing SCAN's mission to deliver high quality, equitable, and cost-effective care to our members. This individual will lead cross-functional projects that improve provider/network quality performance, drive both clinical and operational quality and/or population health programs and align network operations with strategic clinical goals. Position supports the Star Clinical Quality Team, Network Quality and HealthCare Informatics in activities related to project management, quality improvement, and measure performance reporting. You Will

Facilitate workgroups, meetings, and presentations with committees, departments and workgroup meetings to support strategic planning, business case development, and change management efforts tied to clinical innovation & network transformation Support the design, implementation, and results of both internal and network quality initiatives, such as incentive programs, performance improvement plans, and quality reporting Track, maintain performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPI) related to network quality (HEDIS, STARS, CAHPS, utilization trends) and use insights to drive continuous improvement Identify opportunities, actionable insights, barriers & risks of STAR quality programs or interventions while providing recommendations related to Star Quality interventions and programs (HEDIS gaps in care, pharmacy, transitions of care, care coordination and member experience) Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. analytics, network, care management, pharmacy) and external stakeholders (e.g. providers, health systems) Develop & maintain detailed project plans, status reports, issue/risk logs, and documentation to ensure transparency & accountability both internally & externally Support the development of member and provider educational materials to support performance on key quality measures Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals Other duties as assigned Your Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred PMP preferred 3+ years' experience in Health Care / Managed Care or related field required 3+ years' experience in Project Management required. 5+ years' experience in Project Management preferred Leadership - Skilled to develop others Problem Solving - Good problem-solving skills Communication - Good communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated flexibility, ability to multi-task and facilitate cross functional teams Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities Strong interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to express ideas in a clear and organized manner Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple projects with changing priorities Advanced / expert skills with MS Project.
