Job Description Role overview and responsibilities focus on LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and Wireless networking, with priority on LAN/WAN and SD-WAN skillsets.

LAN/WAN and SD-WAN

Cisco CCNP/CCIE Routing and Switching certification is desirable

In-depth knowledge of Cisco LAN, WAN, SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela highly desirable) and data center infrastructure, configuration, and operations

In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), carrier WAN and Internet offerings, cloud network services

In-depth knowledge of Cisco LAN switching technologies including STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLANs, EtherChannel and switch stacking; proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, implementing QoS, and managing network segmentation and redundancy

In-depth knowledge of firewalls, Zscaler and load balancer (F5) infrastructure, configuration, and operations

Wireless

Cisco CCIE Wireless / Aruba Expert Level (ACMX, ACDX, ACCX) certification is desirable

Certified Wireless Networking Professional (CWNP) and Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) is desirable

Has thorough knowledge of WiFi network infrastructure and understanding of software defined networking

In-depth knowledge of Wireless LAN (Cisco WLAN, Cisco ISE, Aruba WLAN, Aruba Clearpass, Aruba Central, Aruba Naas) and private 5G (e.g., Celona) solutions

In-depth knowledge of WiFi network infrastructure, WLAN authentication and understanding of software defined networking

Engineers with a strong mix of the above would be ideal; however, priority is for LAN/WAN and SD-WAN skillsets.

Experience 8-10 Years

Compensation and Benefits Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options.
